Chol Momo khete jabi??" - the most lovely question which we often heard from our dear ones...

Yes,these dumplings of happiness simply takes place in our heart.The absolutely fine taste of "ASIA" (South & East) is now very popular in everywhere... Also,it is extremely popular in "INDIA" too.It can be found in every kind of shops from restaurants to street vendors..


Momo is basically served with a dipping sauce(Chutney -tomato,chilli,ginger,garlic etc).Again,Soup momo which is served with steamed momo ,and the soup is made with meat or vegetable broth.

Panfried momos, also known as "Kothey" momo,it is made with different types of Sauce(hot green and red chilli, garlic,etc).
This version of momo is loaded with full flavour.

INGREDIENTS:
(To make momos)

For the dough-

1 cup maida

1/2 cup water

1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil

1 pinch salt

For the Stuffing

• 1cup Chicken (minced)
• 1 onion finely chopped
• 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
• 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 2 large dry red chillies
• 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
• 1 tablespoon soya sauce(for panfried momos)
• 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
• 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
• as needed Salt


(To make soup for momo)

• Refined Oil
• Butter
• Chicken
• Spring onions
• Ginger
• Garlic
• Black pepper
• Salt

(To make sauce )

Garlic, peeled

Red chillies

3 tbsp vinegar

1 tbsp oil

Salt 

Sugar




The above pictures of momos are from my kitchen, during this lockdown it is impossible to get momos outside, therefore, my sister made it ,for enjoying the yummy flavours.
